Rome and my First Impressions

     My alarm clock is ringing. It is the beginning of the sixth. It’s our Rome Italy vacations! Why so early? Because we are eager to see the way Rome is waking up and to walk through the streets of the Eternal City. To breathe the morning smells that has not disappeared yet in a dining dust and dryness. To feel something unusual, unexpected... . We start our walk with such sights as Fontana di Trevi and Piazza di Spagna. They are unique, and you can enjoy all of this truly, surrounded by thousands of tourists. Yet, in the morning, when most citizens and tourists brush their teeth only or brew coffee, you can try to discover the true dignity of these places and enjoy the vacations in full.
   The city begins waking up; more cars are running on the streets. Someone is hurrying to work or shop, tourists are strolling through the streets leisurely... This is a different Rome a little, but I like it even more. Many people want to visit it. And it is not surprising – the history of the Millennium intertwine with the speed of modern life. We are walking along the beautiful Piazza Venezia, later by the ruins of the Roman Forum and, of course, one of the most famous monuments of ancient Rome and one of the most striking buildings in the world - Colosseum. On the map the city seems enormous, with lots of different sights. But it takes you about 15 minutes to get to the Colosseum from the hotel, which is located in the heart of the capital. This is a remarkable monument of Roman culture! It is hard to imagine what people had felt 2000 years ago, while walking along the streets!
   The next major stop is visiting the Pantheon. The special feature of it is the dome and the rotunda, which represents a masterpiece of Roman building techniques. Some famous people are buried here, in particular, Raphael de Santi, and several kings. If you think that only the unforgettable sights of Rome will make your stay happy, you are wrong a little bit! Shopping is no less important part of any vacations, especially during Rome Italy vacation!
